JCC Riversides' finished Great Wall of Art! There are 385 Square 1 Art tiles created by kindergarten through fifth grade students and 121 centerpiece tiles created by high school art students. We will do the tile wall fundraiser again next year!" ~Aline W.

Incorporating art benchmarks and standards in each grade level project, art teacher, Sandy Bacon, worked with students to create unique works of art for our fundraiser. A parent volunteer and friend installed their wall. They had a grand "unveiling" at their annual Gallery Hop Art Show.

A class quilt was created using artwork from our recent fundraiser. Square 1 makes it so easy to reorder quilt squares. You should try it!

Self portraits bordered with bold black border tiles and white tiles enhanced a stairwell area at a Wisconsin elementary school. The header "Faces of the Future" adds that extra special touch to this wall!

Debi West, our very first customer in 2000 also created the very first GREAT WALL! It features colorful self-portaits created by her students and the entire staff at her school. Debi, National Art Educator of the Year 2005, completed her second tile wall at another school in Georgia!

The parent organization funded this school's class quilts. Volunteers designed and created a quilt honoring each class. The finale was an "end of the year" quilt auction where invited guests and families bid on the quilts at an evening event that included a light supper. Table decorations added a special touch to make it an evening to remember.

The wall is a wonderful way to show off the new school! It gives a nice focus point and a permanent display in the lobby of the school. The students were excited about the wall and their parents were very proud of them too. This ia a great public relations project! They revealed their Great Wall of Art during an unveiling ceremony when the school opened in August 2007.
